Know Your Parks – Liberty School

At the turn of the century, one-room schoolhouses were commonplace in the Ozarks. Today, there are only a handful of them left, including the Liberty School, originally located north of Springfield, near Fellow’s Lake. An effort is underway to relocate the school to the Gray-Campbell Farmstead in Nathanael Greene/Close Memorial Park.
