(Compton)A general ordinance amending the Springfield Land Development Code, Article I, Zoning Ordinance, Subsection 1-1331, Agricultural Uses, to allow beekeeping as an accessory use in any district under certain conditions. (Both Planning and Zoning Commission and staff recommend approval.)
- COUNCIL BILL 2014-116. (Burlison)A general ordinance amending the Springfield City Code, Chapter 18, Animals, Article I, In General, and Chapter 74, Nuisance and Housing Code, Article VII, Nuisances, providing for standards for the keeping of bee colonies and hives, and providing for them to be declared a nuisance under certain circumstances.

A special ordinance approving the plans and specifications for the Clean Water Operations Facility; accepting the bid of Branco Enterprises, Inc. for that project; and amending the budget of the Department of Environmental Services, for the Fiscal Year 2013-2014, in the amount of $1,396,583 from the reserves of the Clean Water Fund for partial funding of the project. - COUNCIL BILL 2014-123. A special ordinance authorizing the City Manager, or his designee, to enter into an agreement with the Springfield Convention and Visitors Bureau, Inc. (SCVB), that includes the SCVB’s Fiscal Year 2014-2015 budget and marketing plan to promote tourism and conventions in the City. - COUNCIL BILL 2014-124. (Carroll)
A special ordinance authorizing the City Manager, or his designee, to enter into an agreement with the Greater Springfield Area Sports Commission, Inc. (Sports Commission), whereby the City will provide the Sports Commission with a share of the City’s collection fees from the hotel/motel gross receipts tax to fund the Sports Commission’s efforts to bring regional and national sporting events to the City. - COUNCIL BILL 2014-125. (Stephens)A general ordinance amending Chapter 2, Section 2-92 of the Springfield City Code, known as the Salary Ordinance relating to salary grades for various job titles within the City service as contained in the Professional, Administrative and Technical (PAT) pay schedule, by making provision for five new job titles and deleting three existing job titles; by providing pay adjustments for employees on the CTL, DHS, PAT and FPS pay schedules; by making pay adjustments for employees in salary grades 11-16 LES pay schedule as contained herein; and declaring an emergency.

- COUNCIL BILL 2014-126. (Seifried)A special ordinance authorizing the City Manager, or his designee, to enter into contracts for the purchase of real estate at 1049 W. Poplar Street as part of the long-term plan approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission for the Municipal Service Center.
- COUNCIL BILL 2014-127. (Compton)A special ordinance authorizing the City Manager, or his designee, to accept a donation of $12,485.28 from Crowdit for use by the City to construct the Red’s Giant Hamburg sign in the Birthplace of Route 66 Roadside Park; and amending the budget of the Department of Planning and Development, for the Fiscal Year 2013-2014, in the amount of $12,485.28 to appropriate that donation.
