A special ordinance authorizing the City Manager, or his designee, to enter into a contract for sale of real estate to sell a tract of approximately 15.36 acres west of Mulroy Road (Farm Road 199), following public auction of the real estate, or sale as otherwise authorized by the City Purchasing Manual, providing certain reserve limits are met; and authorizing the Mayor to execute necessary documents to convey title to the real estate. A special ordinance authorizing the City Manager, or his designee, to enter into a real estate contract to exchange certain portions of city property for private property near Wilson’s Creek and the City’s Southwest Wastewater Treatment Plant (hereinafter “SWTP”); and authorizing the Mayor to execute necessary documents to convey and receive title to the exchanged tracts of real estate.

A special ordinance authorizing the City Manager, or his designee, to accept $50,000.00 in Program Year 2015 Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act State Set-Aside funds for the Ozark Region’s Equal Opportunities/Non-Discrimination Program from the Missouri Division of Workforce Development and to enter into necessary agreements to carry out the grant; and amending the budget of the Department of Workforce Development for Fiscal Year 2015-2016 in the amount of $50,000.00 to appropriate the grant funds.

A special ordinance to establish and define the boundaries and adopt the plat, plans, specifications, and sealed estimate of construction costs, and authorize acquisition of necessary right(s)-of-way, by purchase or condemnation thereof, for Sanitary Sewer District No. 200 of Section No. 15 of the main sewers of the City, located in the general vicinity of Roslyn Avenue and Bagnell Street; further provide that all labor shall be paid the prevailing wages pursuant to Missouri Labor Regulations; and direct the City Manager, or his designee, to advertise for bids for the construction of said sewers.

A special ordinance to levy and assess a special tax against the lots, blocks, and parcels of ground hereinafter described to pay for the cost of the construction of sanitary sewers in the City in Sanitary Sewer District No. 234 of Section No. 6, in the general vicinity of Kerr Street, east of Main Avenue, providing for inclusion of said district in the City Sewer Financial Assistance Program, and authorizing the City Clerk to issue special tax bills and deliver the same to the Director of Finance to be registered in her office in accordance with the ordinance.

A special ordinance authorizing the Director of Planning and Development to accept the dedication of the public streets and easements to the City of Springfield as shown on the Preliminary Plat of Roberts Industrial Park, generally located at the 1000-1200 blocks of North Farm Road 123 (Westgate Avenue), upon the applicant filing and recording a final plat that substantially conforms to the preliminary plat; and authorizing the City Clerk to sign the final plat upon compliance with the terms of this ordinance.
